Wheeee! With my snazzy new Irish Cottage Knitting skillz, it is much easier for me to use my 12-inch Addi Turbo needles. Since I'm starting these socks top down, not toe up as per my usual program, I pulled out these needles again to give them a whirl. It's like butter. Not having to switch between needles like in the 2 circ or DPN route makes these go so fast! LOVE!

Your sock cuff looks great! Who's the little guy in a panic at the top of the volcano? Cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm getting ready for some knee-highs. I haven't worn knee-highs for years, but now I have some cool handspun, and I'm ready. The only problem is that they'll probably take me a year to make.
Oh, I really like that color. Would it be easier to use a longer TURBO needle? I've never tried 12 inch. I've always had the really really long ones - (36 inches maybe?)
ReplyDeleteLOVE! LOVE! I need to bust out that 12" curved one you bought me. (Okay, reading that..someone MIGHT not know I'm talking about knitting needles!)

Purdy, purdy, purdy!
