Madison Bag

A most excellent purse made by the boy as a present to me. It's the Madison Bag, an Amy Butler pattern that I had bought eons ago when I thought I would learn to sew. The boy thought this would be a great project for me, but as evidenced by the amount of time it has sat in our project bin, it wasn't meant to be my project anytime soon.

The red with white polka dot interior makes it even more quirky and fun. I'm going to be using this bag a lot!

  1. You won't believe this but at this exact moment, I've been online looking at an Amy Butler pattern and I have my stack of "Learn How to Sew" books sitting next to me. You know. Cuz you can't have too many distractions from that damn UFO pile.

That bag is gorgeous. Really truly perfect. The red inside tops it off.
I am really jealous that you 1. have that bag 2. have a man that would make you that bag

I'm going to show this post to my husband. (He literally puts duct tape on the holes in his jacket. I'm pretty sure he won't be sewing me any gifts this year).

  2. Cute as all get out! Very nice work. Clearly a man of many talents.
