Do you ever have one of those projects that you just can't get into? I fell in love with a bamboo lace pattern and I just had to make it. After repeating the pattern 5 times, I decided that I'd rather claw my eyes out with dull nails than to do any more repeats. The yarn is Curious Creek kid mohair in the colorway Birches in Norway - pretty yarn, but it was not meant to be a bamboo lace scarf.
Let's just call it a potholder. A mohair potholder.
Well, I'm not sure how well it would actually insulate...how about a doily?
ReplyDeleteI started to crochet a blanket to match a quilt I keep on my bed...but I'm thinking about calling it a SCARF since it's a nice thin one and I haven't touched it in over two years!
it looks really pretty but sometimes if you aren't in love you just need to stop... except when its just weaving ends in on a blanket that is 90% done :) I am finishing weaving in ends this weekend if it kills me!
