While I was working the heel, the boy finished balling up the secret project yarn. Now, it's time to do some serious knitting! There will be no more pictures of this stuff until it is in the recipient's hands.

Yes, I will have to make another sock. However, the second sock always goes faster!
ReplyDeletehey, what kind of heel do you do for your toe-up socks? and do you do the magic loop or 2 circulars? i'm in the midst of Bill's sock again for the umpteenth time and i can't fine any tutorials on doing a heel, toe-up, on 2 circs.

I used Hellchick's pattern using 2 circs. I'm not crazy about the toe, though, so I'm going to do the short row toe suggested on Knitty's universal sock pattern. The heel, which I dig, is a short row heel.
